Artist of the Month August – Janne Parviainen
After a small delay due to some technical issues.. its time again for the Artist of the Month!  And for this month, he is one of our blog team,  Finnish artist Janne Parviainen.
Janne doesn’t need much introduction in the light painting world. His work and style and one of the few immediately recognizable ones. Being active in light painting he has a huge body of work and has developed some of his own techniques which have been inspiring a lot of new light painters all around the world. He has been featured in major online as well as written publications.
I first met Janne when I moved to Finland and started to get into light painting some years ago. I thought to google about light painting in Finland, and his name came up in the top of the list. I wrote him a mail, he responded very happily offering to go shoot together, and a couple of days later we were looking for some sort of entrance to some opening under the national highway outside of Helsinki!
For the interview, we asked him some questions about his life and work as an artist.  Hope you enjoy it 🙂
