PHOTO OF THE WEEK 39

Our artist of the month September  Hugo Baptista went through all your submissions with the #lightpaintingblog hashtag.

The image he has chosen is this one, named “Find your light” by Olivier Faÿ

Here is what Hugo said about his choice:

Olivier obviously found his very own light. Love how the model stands out due to his exquisite edge enhancing lighting technique. The energy burst emanating from the middle harmonizes perfectly with the calm thoughtful presence of the model. Outside rays in Olivier’s signature red and green put the cherry on the cake.

You can find  more of Olivier’s work on his Instagram  and his website

Congrats Olivier!

Thanks Hugo! Thanks Jannis! To make this picture I was inspired by the beautiul phrase of Stanley Kubrick: “However vast the darkness, we must supply our own light”.
