Artist of the Month November – Xiao Yang
Artist of the Month November – Xiao Yang
New month, new featured artist for our Light Painting Blog.
This time our choice is the Chinese photographer and light painter, Xiao Yang.
Xiao is well known for her epic work on abandoned places, old monuments, and other urbex areas.
As always we asked her some questions about herself and her work. She was kind enough to provide us a video of herself talking about all these. At this point, I would like to say huge thanks to her for overcoming her shyness and doing this video for us. 🙂 I m sure that most of the readers here can relate to how weird it is to be in front of the camera for a change…
Thank you, Xiao!
The extra footage in the beginning of the interview, which by the way was really nicely done.. was actually a commercial spot that Xiao was staring some years ago from a “Milk” brand called “Yili PureDay”.
You can find more of her work on her Flickr, Instagram and her FB page

One more thing… Xiao will be the judge of our featured Photo of the Week every Sunday! To participate you just need to use the hashtag #lightpaintingblog with your photos on Instagram. Welcome!
