 Our artist of the month May  Denis Smith went again through all your submissions with the #lightpaintingblog hashtag.

He has chosen this image by Mafu Fuma which was also made during the LightPainters United Meetup in Belgium

Here is what Denis said about his choice:

I am away at a photography conference this weekend talking about lightpainting. One of the messages I talked on was how precious the physical meeting of photographers is. It’s also my birthday and I’m away from home and family, this image made me feel warm and full of joy when I’m feeling a bit distant. Thanks you legends. Keep meeting up and making magic. Peace.
